"My wizard scar still burns for you."

Life is like a swing set. You have to work really hard to get any momemtum. And sometimes, you feel like you are flying high, with your feet above your head. And sometimes, you swing too high and you land on your butt.

After that very deep and similetic (not a word, I just made it up!) thought, how are you? I am doing pretty good right now. I have a job interview at Village Books tomorrow so let's hope it goes well. I really, really do not want to work at the Rec Center again next year. It's just not worth it at all. I am grateful for a job, but as I was discussing with Jen Jaclyn, there are no real perks to working there. And I don't care about anything at the Rec Center; I care a lot about books. But I don't need to convince you guys, I need to convince my prospective employer. Anyway, I was just updating my resume and checking my email since I have still not figured out how to get Internet on my laptop (I am pretty sure I have to pay for it-- how lame is that!?!).
I guess I have some other stuff I could be working on too, like thank you letters for the folks that gave us money for the Dickens Universe (oh yeah, I will be there a week from today-- crazy!!!).

And if you want to hear about Harry and the Potters, read Lisa's diary. She captured it earnestly and hilariously.
